On A Dead Machine - On A Dead Machine 2005

On a Dead Machine comes from the U.S, and they play some music that i won't even try to describe!lol to give you an idea nevertheless let's just say it reminds me of bands like A Perfect Circle (a lot!), Tool...well you see the kind of stuff i'm talking about! it's both heavy and melodical with more furious passages really remembering screamo bands like Chevelle for instance (if that's a screamo band! ah ah!)! the album is pretty good but the production could have been better, especially for an album released in 2005 and considering the type of music they play, that is in which the sound quality is of the utmost importance...but anyway it's definitely worth a shot IMHO! enjoy

Taake – Hordalands Doedskvad (2005)

Norway strike once more and it's a hard blow that will hack your head againt the wall and let blood spill around! ah ah!... Taake will certainly enthral your soul with it's dynamic and distinguished black metal, that's the least i can promise you! =) in the first place this album made me laugh (when i was just looking at it!lol) cause i saw TNBM written on it... so i thought to myself... ah ah! still one of this damn musicians that has nothing more to offer than some patriotic feelings... but the cover was quite intriguing and i let myself be tempted by it whatsoever....(([[Oo]])) wow! what a surprise! not only are the songs great and interesting but the atmospheres are varied and manage to convey epic and powerful feelings!! hush....!!quick! ..gimme my sword...i need to leave at once, the mountains are calling my name, the cold Mist is coming again,...a killing spree is taking control of me!! \m/

Cause For Effect - PQ-2 (2001)

This is a grindcore band! =) but not the usual type, actually there are only two guys in the band, a bassist (also doing the vox) and a drummer! their style is very technical and rather unusual! i believe they come from Finland but not sure as there is not many info about them...this album is a MCD and despites its containing about 20 songs, it's about 20 minutes!! ah ah, true grindcore power!!!lol well not much to add except that if you like it strange and off the beaten track, this one is for you! enjoy!

Disphoria - Sleep Fly Away... You'll Be Tortured Forever 2004

Disphoria comes from the french local scene (south of france, Toulouse, where captain Zakky has been, and where Zubrowska also comes from for instance!) and they are making their way up to the top...well at least they started their ascension and if they keep their head up like that i believe they have the ability to rise high! I'm not much of a metalcore fan as this kind of stuff tends to turn out boring in the end and all the bands sound kindda the same to me! ah ah! Disphoria's music is more diversified though... i have seen them live and on stage i was pretty fucking stunned by their drummer...this guy believe me is rather impressive! this is their first album and it bodes well for their future recordings as their song are pretty interesting, well composed and really well performed! have a go you won't regret it! \m/

Biomechanical - Eight Moons (2002)

next to france is England, the heavy metal creator proves once more that they can rejuvinate that style and bring it one giant step forward! actually what would you think if the power of Pantera (for instance)was combined to the style of old heavy metal stuff like, let's say, Judas Priest, ...and to top it all, a symphonic /progressive touch was added to it! well this is Biomechanical! as i know many of you are real fans of power metal, well the fact that i'm not and that i definitely love this album is to me an indisputable proof of its worth! enjoy!

Epheles - Souviens-Toi [2006]

Well after such a long absence, the title of this opus couldn't come in better! Epheles is from France and plays BM, ...and if nothing else that country is at least good pretty good at it! ah ah! i like the style of these guys very much and though they aren't known but to the advanced black metaller, Ephele has been practicing its black art for ten years already! but like true evil masters, they went by unnoticed, lurking in the shadow and treading on a unique and hellish path of their own! if you like BM, you'll certainly love that album cause it's pretty dark and gloomy, it reminds me of early Burzum-esque ambiances!! it also mixes violent warlike rhythms and more grandiose, slower melodies ...in the best Norwegian style! the text are mainly in French but don't even try to understand a word!lol Overall, IMHO this album is truly excellent! don't miss that one, it'll kick your @ss so hard you'll think you're in time warp!! ah ah! \m/

荔枝王 - 硬心 2003

Welcome back on the mainland! if you scour the country you may have already come across that band cause 荔枝王 is rather famous and renowned, ...and if you've not had the opportunity to hear them yet, i recommend checkin' that band out ASAP! ;) well their music is quite basic and not that original( well ...HxC!..), but i like their style! the vocalist is pretty aggressive, the rhythm is heavy and pummelling! like Biohazard meeting R.A.T.M and roping Pro-Pain in!! the song with the guy from L.M.F is pretty cool IMHO...basically, their music is in the line of all the good stuff released at the beginning of the 90's, 荔枝王 shows that the spirit is still alive and kicking on this goddamn planet...and i for sure won't be complaining about that! enjoy! \m/

Michel Petrucciani - Marvellous 1994

well as it is jazz time, i bring this this little guy here who is a French pianist (from an Italian origin)...i don't know if you've ever heard about him but he was very famous over here! as you can see he was a dwarf and had very small hands with tiny fingers...but when you'll hear him playing...well you'll just realize how big this guy is as a pianist! unfortunately he died a few years ago at an early stage in life...as all geniuses i would say... there seem to be a mandatory rule about that! = / Whatever, his music is truly awesome ( i like the Snoopy track a lot [charlie brown]lol) and i'm sure you'll enjoy his work and recognize how much it's worth! \m/
