In Vain - Wounds 2005

Perhaps this name is familiar to you....anyway this band is difficult to describe...they are violent ...BM type of thing, but also quite technical as would be a grindcore squad of berserkers or a troop of medieval minstrel(!^^) ....and also quite unpredictable! their song are definitely in the vein of progressive stuff, call it 8 bit grindy-death-black-O-blues-folky-matic progressive sort of thing if you want =O ! but they have long tracks in which you have loads of differents and crazy atmosphere...well enough said ...i think they kick ass....what about you? ready to get a thrashing??!

Ali Farka Toure - The River 1990

Though in a few days i'll be on the mainland, at the moment African music (Mali) is floating around, i'll sure feel a change when i'll get there!lol I've been listening to Ali Farka Toure since i'm a kid and i have always loved his style, not really knowing what it was at the time! ah ah! so far i've never heard anyone playing the guitar like him...unfortunately he died from cancer last year =( .... he's certainly no shredder, however he could be considered some, if trance like rhythmic shred existed! he can sometimes sound a bit like reggae as it's definitely some musical artistery coming from the "roots" but it's more like some mixture of african music and blues to me (there is harmonica as well, ...the very first song is really awesome!)....well i live you to it, you're in good hands! ;)
